About Us

For 10 years, Hakka N' Jerk has been a downtown east favourite on Gerrard St E. The idea was simple and a little bold: take the fiery wok cooking of Hakka Indo-Chinese food and bring it together with the smoky, Scotch bonnet heat of Caribbean jerk.

Our Journey

What started with chilli chicken and chow mein grew into something all our own. Jerk chicken found its way into chow mein, fried rice and even poutine, while classics like crispy beef, Manchurian and hot garlic chicken stayed on as regulars' favourites. Signature momos, including jhol momos, became a menu pillar too.
